About Me

Always a builder at ❤️ heart. Started in 2007 on Notepad++, Windows XP and a Pentium 4 PC, later moved to Ubuntu 7.10 after getting tired of viruses living rent-free. Spent nights building an open-source PHP MMO with strangers online. Every error meant hours staring at the screen figuring out what I’d broken. I also ran a small phpBB forum from that era — good times, though it cost me plenty of sleep.

By Day

While still in college, I built Windows Phone apps on the side, a couple got featured on the store and combined pulled 100k+ downloads. After graduating, I ran www.ciepo.com, a small Indonesian content site, for a while, at its peak it handled 500k visits a day off nginx and statically generated WordPress pages on a $5 DigitalOcean droplet. Still proud of that one.

Now I’m a SWE at a startup, building things our customers need. Interested in LLMs too — always chasing the next shiny thing, I guess.

Outside work

I run trails and roads, and track it more than a normal person probably should. Most evenings and weekends I’m deep in turn-based games that reward thinking over reflexes — XCOM 2, Persona, Divinity: Original Sin 2, or just chilling in Stardew Valley.
